I can now reveal that an online multiplayer demo for Aliens vs. Predator is about to land. The demo will be released simultaneously on Xbox Live, PlayStation Network and STEAM on February 4th.
The multiplayer demo will allow gamers the chance to play as all three species – the Colonial Marine, the Predator and the Alien – and pitch their skills against each other in Deathmatch mode on Refinery, one of the game’s multiplayer maps.
Multiplayer Map Scenario:
The Alien Queen was drawn to the warmth of the Freya’s Prospect Ore Refinery. It was here that she established her Hive. Hence the Refinery multiplayer map features not only the signature metallic architecture of a Weyland-Yutani colony but also surfaces made entirely of Alien resin – the ominous first sign of Xenomorph infestation.
There are numerous vantage points for Predator hunters, dark corners and ceilings for Alien stalkers and tight corridors for heavily-armed Marines. On this map no species is at an advantage and all will have to fight for survival. Welcome to the Aliens vs Predator multiplayer experience.
